Once upon a time, a person named Joe invented a cool thing and said, "Hey, look what I made!" He showed the cool thing to his friends and the friends said, "I like that thing. I'd buy one from you." And Joe said, "Really? Cool!"
Everyday, Joe kept himself busy, ordering materials, making the thing, shipping the thing. One day, he realized he didn't have the money to pay the suppliers because he hadn't had time to invoice his customers The raw material stopped coming and he couldn't make more things. So he yelled to his spouse, "Honey! I need a bookkeeper!" And a family business was born.
Because of that first hire, he was able to afford more people and they grew and they grew. They grew and they grew until finally Joe looked around and realized he couldn't quite keep track of everything that was going on. He couldn't quite manage by feel. There was too much to do. He wasn't making as much money as he used to, even though he was working harder and selling more than ever. He just wanted to go back to the way things used to be. Unfortunately, Joe didn't have a time machine. He became increasingly unhappy until he found Bellrock.
